Massive, Lightstorm and Fox Interactive team up for a game based on Avatar universe -US-Īnnouncement video for the Avatar Project game The game was not announced as a direct sequel to Ubisoft's James Cameron's Avatar: The Game or a direct movie tie-in game, but will expand on the Avatar universe in new and exciting ways alongside the upcoming sequel films. The story is a new, standalone installment featuring new characters. Not much is known about the plot at present, but like the Wii/PSP and Nintendo DS games, focuses on a Na'vi lead character confronting Resources Development Administration encroachment.
